I tried adding Jet Hot to the list of exhaust manufacturers but it is not showing up.

Don't know what's up.

EDIT:  I tried adding ARP to "Engines" and it did not come up either.

When it first came about a year or so ago, I went through and added a ton of stuff in there for the Firebird (and whoever else might have been using the same products) along the way.  Then Joe did some upgrade and wiped everything out for a newer version or something.

If everything is in there, it's fairly painless to click through, but, when nothing is in there, it can be a pain trying to ADD everything in to the database as you go along.

I tried adding my Bronco instead:

Oh well, I gave it a shot.

Weird.  When you create a new vehicle, an error comes back, but the vehicle is still created.

It's hard to figure out at first, but after a while you get the hang of it.  You just need to do some things in a certain order.  Like add manufacturers before adding an item.

I tried adding Jet Hot again, it says that it's already there, but I sure as s*** don't see it.

Anyone else see Jet Hot in the list of Exhaust manufacturers?

After you've added the product manufacturer, you have to go to the product menu and add that too.  When you do, you'll be able to select Jet Hot from the manuafacturer drop down, and enter what type of product it is from them.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but a suggestion to Joe maybe:

On the "Installation Rating" that is required, it ranges from 1-(Most expensive) to 10-(Best).  I'm thinking maybe it should be least/most expensive, or worst/best, or easiest/most difficult.  The current setup has two different "things".

Uh,  you're not going to list every bit of machine work you had done to every nut, bolt, donut gasket you have......are ya?  Like how many wraps of teflon tape you used on this or that?  That ain't fair.

Be a sport, eh?   Grin

I have a few more mods to post, but I was waiting for Dave to get done with the garage.  Not sure it is going to work after he's done loading it up.   Undecided

Haha.  Well, go right on ahead, I'm giving it a break for the night, until I can find my spreadsheet with what things cost me.  I hate to have to go back again and update everything again.

Man, I can't believe (well, I CAN believe) how long you spent on updating your car.  If you click on it, it shows you when you made each upgrade.  Is that what I have to look forward to? LOL

You do have your work cut out for you, no doubt.  It took me the better part of a day.

But let me tell you, the garage is a pretty good deal once you've gotten everything loaded.  I haven't had to email or post anything about my car since.  It's all right there.  Just post a link and be done with it, if anyone asks.

I think Joe may have to look into this.  I just tried, and got an error.  The others I've done with pics had gone thru and just had to be approved by him.

Weird though; even though I don't yet see the two times I just tried, my mod count went up by two.  So they're in there somewhere.

Dave,
Yes I have to approve every "new" item that gets submitted to the garage but, once it's in there, the new user that has the same item they don't have to submit it. End story, the more that data submitted to the garage the easier it is to use. (I wasn't around much this weekend, Wife and I hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for the family)

J.D, Dave and Anyone else,
I didn't notice the image upload problem until now. I'll look into this when I have a chance. Shouldn't be too hard to fix. Smiley
