I am looking for a good set up for my lx. i have been thinking about gettin a pair of front and back drag springs with lakewood struts n shocks. i dont want to get a pair of springs that make the front end sit up high. i have skinnys n fattys on it. if u have any good tips let me know.

I'm not too familiar with Lakewood struts and shocks, but of all the threads I've read over the years, Bilstein is the way to go in that department.  For springs, you can't go wrong with either Eibach, H&R, or even MM's.

What's your budget for this?  We even have a member by the name of Gravel who is a H&R rep that could also help you out with your decision.

yea i herd blistein is pretty good, theres no buget on the car it goes 11.50s on pretty much stock suspension n i think its time to change those springs out. i might throw a pair of 4 cyl springs on there with good shocks n struts. not really sure wut i want to do

I am new here and love the site. I have been dealing with fox bodys since 88. I will post in my signature later. I run lakewood 90\10 front and 50\50 rear shocks. I also run lakewood upper and lower control arms with torque reinforcments. I have the eibach drag springs and it does make the front sit up a tad higher than stock. i will be replacing motor soon and installing k-member lower a-arms and coil over kit and i hope that lowers the front. from what i have seen and rad the coil over kit will lower the front. hope that helps.
