Notice how the front rides "a little high" after I put new springs and shocks on it Wednesday. Wink

I got Torino springs for it rather than ordering springs from Australia (evidently not exactly the same) and after they were on I suspected that they could perhaps be a little tall.  LOL

I removed the wheels and shocks and cut off 1 coil on the springs with a cut-off wheel and a 13 gallon compressor (7 seconds at a time, LOL) and then got it back together and it looks much better.

First pic, too high

Second pic is after cutting, looks good.

Much better. I wouldn't mind having a car like to cruise around town in.

In the first pic the car is not on the jack stand. I knew I was going to have to put it back on them so I left it there.

I went to the bank today, got out of the car and saw a 14 yr old kid on a bike just staring at it. He only had one word to say......"Badass!!!" . I said "what?" And he said "That's badass!!" .

Yesterday while chasing down an airfilter a guy and his son were looking it over while I was in the store. When I came out and put the filter on he asked if he could take a pic of the engine (not much to see really). He asked a few questions and complimented me on the car. I get stopped and asked something by someone most anywhere I go.

Before changing the springs the originals were completely dead, no travel at all. Now its a wonderful thing.

Looks much better with a lower stance. I should post some pics of the '95s new mean look.......I love the way there's like a 12" gap in the fenderwell.

Huh Post pics so we can see what you mean. I detect unsatisfied sarcasm. Bummer.
