what is a good lowering spring for the front of a 96 mustang GT?  i would like to drop it about 1.5 inches that gap looks bad when i put my summer rims on.  also i need to replace the shocks on it too, what would be a good street/strip shock to run with?  any info would be helpful i don't know much about suspenion parts and the guys at work only know Honduh or RX-7 shizz

When I was installing my spring I thought about doing the shocks as well but I didn't have the coin for it. I believe Gravel said that Bilstein shocks would work well in my fox. I'm sure he can recommend something for your 1996. Smiley

For a drag setup, there are better people to give you info than I, all my experience is with setups where you have to use the steering wheel. Grin

Bilstein are awesome struts/shocks.  Put them on my car, night and day difference.

It's been years but I had the Lakewood 73/30 and 50/50 on my old Mustang. Car also had eibach springs, lakewood traction action bars, and Steeda subframe connectors.  It didn't do half bad down the 1/8, but was still a comfortable drive on the street.

I used FMS C springs on my '96 all the way around and it sat perfect IMO.

I have mach 1 struts on the front of my 90LX, got them through the ford dealer, several years ago at a real good price.
