As I've said, I wanna go 5 lug on my 89 with 99 Cobra wheels.  The cheapest I've seen the rims are $150 a piece new. I haven't looked into the cost of used one, but at another forum someone just posted this... "wheels are nice no curb rash, just a few scratches, tires are 245/45/17 Kuhmo Ecsta's 95% tread left. $400"    Sounds damn good right? |

those tires suck... the wheels look bland (maybe just dusty?). IDK 400 sounds great to get them on your car and to ride them... but I honestly dont think that particular pair is a real eye popper.

Yeah, they just look dusty. It looks like they are sitting in a shop(I see an exhaust, and an engine block in the background.

I run Kuhmo Ecstas on my car, it costs around $500 for a new set of tires.
So I'd say, based on that tidbit of info, $400 for wheels and tires is a pretty good deal.

I just put about 1k into my rims and tires, $400 for the set sounds like a good deal. Even if you don't want them you can resell them for about the same price and not loose anything.  |

I asked the seller if he would be at the NMRA event. He said yes. I gave him my cell number and told him to give me a call sometime on that saturday. I never got a call. I've seince sent him 2 or 3 PMs askign whats up, but haven't heard back. Another member from this other forum might be buying my 2.3 LX. He lives over near tampa, the same place as the guy selling the 99 wheels. Once I talk to the guy who might be buying my 2.3, I'm going to ask him if he know the guy with the 99 wheels. |
