P275/40R17 Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals How do you like them Cara? LOVE them! They are very stickey. Haven't gotten a chance to evaluate them in the wet yet, though. I don't chirp 2nd to 3rd now... they just grip like mad. Gravel- love the rims! If a few of those springs happened to fall into my other package, I wouldn't complain!

On the wife's 66 are classic Magnum 500 rims with 215/70R14 BF Goodrich Excentia GT's. Wanted a classic look but a slightly different tire than the masses. You are probably wondering where you get Excentia's? Never heard of them, eh?
On my Aussie car I got what the Mad Max car had for tires, though they are a different generation, BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. Fronts are 215/60R15's and rears are 235/60R15's. The front rims are standard wagon wheel style 15 x 7 rims with standard Ford backspacing and bolt circle. The rears were custom made (fronts were also done for this order) and are 15 x 8's with a 2 inch backspacing in order to get the outer side of the tire out to the quarter panel, again to match what was on the Mad Max car in the movie. Fender flares will be going on it as part of the Interceptor conversion. All the rims were then black powder coated.
The original rims on the Interceptor had spokes with sharp corners which were prone to cracking, very unsafe. That's why I went with the typical wagon wheel design, it looks very close but is so much safer.
