I have a few questions about the fox brake system. 1) What is the cheapist way of upgrading the system (i would like to keep 4-lug)?
2) If I upgraded to 13" rotors in the front would pony rims still fit?
3) Is it possiable to put calipers from a Bullit on a fox? (see attacted pic)

i can't help you but those calipers would look killer on your car since it's a red fox.

Call Baer and ask them about their "Serious Street" kit. It uses the calipers in your pic, but on 12" rotors so you can still use small wheels like the Ponies. I imagine they make it in 4 lug too.

Cool! I'll have to give them a call, that looks kinda pricey to me right now. I'm glad I have all the time in the world to save up for it.

Well, you don't need the calipers if you already have the Cobra/Bullitt ones. You really only need the rotors and caliper brackets, and maybe the brake lines. They'd probably sell you just the stuff you need.

I don't know about the Baer kit, but the Bullit calipers are the same as cobra 94-current Bullit Mach 1
They are PBR dual piston calipers. From the factory they are used with a 13" rotor. These can be put on a fox, but will require at least 17" wheels using ford parts.
To convert this, you will need 94-95 spindles and hubs. 96-98 spindles can be used, but it pushes the wheel out 8mm (about 5/16") on each side. This becomes a problem when running 9" wide wheels.
You will also need balljoint spacers (.330) or the newer balljoints. This is just for the front. When doing the rear, you will need the axle brackets for the calipers, rotors, calipers, hoses ,and new ebrake cables.
Then you will need a m/c and prop valve setup. There is a good writeup on the corral by matt.
If you want to do it cheap, and stay four lug, go the Turbo Coupe route. i will get you links in the morning.

They are exactly the same caliper Baer uses in their kit. PBR custom makes them for Baer, the only difference is the logo on the front. Look closely at the pic I posted and the pic of the red Bullitt calipers, and you'll see all the similarities.

I new about the calipers in the baer kit, but I don't know about the 12" kit, wheel fitment, etc. PBR makes all kinds of calipers. Like the Vette, Saleen, Rousch. I'm not talking about the Alcon setups either.
