Even if you get a complete "kit" its probably not going to fit correctly and you are sure to have reliability issues.  What happens in 8 months when you need to replace a part... and this "company" has packed up shop or changed their name due to fraud charges.  You are SCREWED.

You're better of spending 1400 bucks on a used sc-trim or novi 1000 and calling it a day.

I thought about it and realized I wouldn't be happy with a Novi or Vortech. It sucks that it's hard finding a good used Kenne Bell kit.

Yeah thats true, but even I want to do a turbo car as well.  If my block splits(in 2 months, or 2 years) I'm selling the vortech, heads(if still good) and intake and tossing in a stock longblock with a turbo.  Stock driveability, and 400-425rwhp would be damn fun.

x2

Only problem is splitting the f***ing block.  I got my 92 coupe because the dude had it bored out to a 308, TW top end, SC trim screwed to the moon making 14psi.  The block literally split down the middle like a banana and that was with a main stud girdle AND a oil valley girdle.  You can achieve CRAZY amounts of power with these things.  So what if you aren't making 450lbs/ft of torque at 2200rpm... you make 500+ at 4500!

There is no way I would stick a Bell on a pushrod car vs a Vortech.

Trust me, Ando Calrissian, you don't want a non intercooled KB.  Actually, you don't want a KB, period.

Why wouldn't I want one? Would a Novi give me that kind of torque that low in the rpms?

there's some guys up in buffalo with some badass KB cars... up at kennedy's dynotune.  Their cars are FAR from your ordinary 1500 install though.  Much easier to take your standard 5.0L and put a vortech on there.  My 92 coupe motor was making 550rwhp before it grenaded!

I wouldn't waste the time on a 1500...hell, even the new base kits are 2200s now but I wouldn't get one anyways unless it had the bypass.

1) Ridiculous discharge temps = no timing = no power.

2) Ridiculous discharge temps + a tiny amount of timing = head gaskets removed.

3) Ridiculous discharge temps + centrifugal same timing = new motor.

So a KB wouldn't be streetable? The reason I'm thinking about one is because I don't rev my engine too high, no more than 5K, because it just turned over 110K miles and I don't want to wear it out too quickly. I figured with a KB I could get really good power without having to rev the s*** out of it.
