I plan on putting on a direct port nitrous injection system, and i was wondering what a safe amout of shot to use when i purchase the intake manifold?? It will be on a 96 mustang gt, with pi heads when i get them

Why bother? Not to knock you, but direct port seems like overkill if you don't have a motor that can safely handle anything above a 150 shot.
Get an off-the-shelf 100-125 shot kit and save a few Franklins.

don't they have plastic intakes? might want to change that out, or stock up on a few factory ones.. it will explode.

Max 150 shot. I would start at a 100 and work your way up seeing how the car responds. I ran a 150 shot on my 91GT...but, it had a diff intake than you I believe.
