looking to just run just one turbo on my mustang. was looking at the garrett chargers on there. i now know that i need to upgrade my speed density to maf. so what do you guys think about the garrett turbo chargers? and whats the difference between turbo and supercharged? sorry for a dumb question. still learning.....

well i can tell you the difference between a turbo and supercharger, a turbo uses exaust gasses to spin the impeller to build boost, while a supercharger uses a belt from the crankshaft to spin the impeller, if you want more info on the difference howstuffworks.com is a great site that can explain a bit more in depth than i can.

damn.....so where the hell can i get a cheap super charger? i only have 1400 to spend and most of that is going toward getting a new transmission. Sad

I have to agree with arrgorndenethor, save up your money and buy a supercharger. I would change out your trans and upgrade to a MAF system first. Grin

Doesn't look like a bad deal.  Not to sure about the place where it is coming from though. PA Performance and Lentech are good. Not sure of your budget.
