I had an 89 for a few months and ended up trading it off.. missed it ever since Sad. I have always been a fan of mustangs since high school (late 80's - early 90's) and have gotten a 95 with a bad engine for a good price. Also have a 97 explorer 5.0 motor with the GT40P heads and GT40 style intake. I am researching what all I have to do to get the intake to work..I have learned a lot but maybe some here can share some more. This is a project vehicle, not something I have to have right away but I am ready to get it road worthy/running...wife wants her garage spot back too..hahaha LOL

I look forward to getting this thing up and running as well as posting and checking out everyones cars here.

God bless,
Chuck

Welcome! Looks like you've got a nice little project on your hands.

You'll need to get a throttle body off of a mustang as the explorer body opens the opposite way. I've seen people rig them to work, but that doesn't make it right.
