I noticed that they have set an estimated date for the Spring Smackdown.
I wish they would attempt to rent on a Sunday for a larger crowd...

I may attend to spectate, as the car will be down (most likely) throughout 2005.

Hopefully I will have the VERT and the Coupe back together by then.  Would like to run both of them for s***s and giggles.  Was absent from last years meetings due to work!   Beef  Is it still scheduled for Friday, as of right now?

Yes, May 27th is a Friday...

I really wish they would do it on a Sunday, but that would screw up the track....

Friday - run all day
Test n Tune - you get to leave the track, pay, and come back in.

I plan on having the Mustang done by then. The only possible hold-up would be if I don't finish customizing the engine compartment. Either way I still plan to take my Aussie Falcon there to see what the Aussie 351 will do. Wink

I think I may have been mistaken on the date...

I believe that it is the 26th of May (Thursday)
and then the 22nd of October (Saturday!!!)

Please ask him to update his sight....

Although, he could just change the 2004 to 2005 and be accurate for the fall one (Saturday event, y'all!)

Sad

You can't have it done in a month? Come on, Eric..........if we finished the "unfinishable" 'Vert, there has to be a way for you to get yours done and ready!
I need to finish the wiring, no problem just need to start working on it. The big problem is the tranny...in pieces, I need to order the G-Force rebuild kit, I really don't have 1800 bucks right now. With the wife being off a couple of times this year and the city finances running low, I've lost every bit of O/T. Beef Which is my extra $ for the car. I might have to "Master" the possibilities if you know what I mean. Banging head on wall

I ~HOPE~ that they guys working last night are not there at Smackdown.

The idiot that was telling cars to burnout had cars starting to burnout when there was a car staged to race...   and another car behind them...

I hope they straighten him out.

Some cars (slow ricers, etc.) are OK for that since they stop doing their burnout after the water.  Most people I know power out of the burnout and hit the brakes for starting line.....

only a few more weeks...  who is going???

Cool story Michelle You da woman.

I'm still planning on being there hopefully with both cars. Depending on how far behind the Mustang is for Carlisle, if that is the case, then it may still be in question if I have the time to even take the Aussie Falcon.

If you are planning on going, please sign up on the Corral..  (or I can sign you up with Permission).

They may cancel it due lack of commitments.
