I have decided to sell the trailer I bought last year and never used to try and afford my engine block.

Details:

18' steel Car-Mate 2-axle car trailer custom shortened by Car-Mate to 16" (to save weight and storage space).
Trailer received touch up paint and a full undercoat with "Rus-fre" 2 days after it was built so it is virtually rust free and should remain that way for a long time.
Wood runners on deck to save weight over a solid deck.
Custom built (by an engineer at work- the first owner) steel/aluminum ramps that live in the truck bed rather than on the trailer because they are lighter than the angle iron ramps you normally get and they dont rattle incessantly like cheap ramps that live under the trailer.
D-rings welded into the back of the trailer for tie down straps (the front uses the telescoping jack mount for the tie downs).
Tires are in great shape.
2 spare wheel and tire assemblies.
Hydraulic brakes that work great and arent fussy like electric brakes.
Hydraulic brakes have been cleaned and greased so that they work correctly (if you end up buying a new trailer, you MUST do this to hydraulic brakes or they will probably work poorly from day one).
Trailer tows superbly even at GVW at speeds above 80 mph.

I called Friess Welding (the place it was purchaced from) and the current version of that trailer is $2300.

I figure $1400 is a fair asking price considering you wont have to perform any of the mods yourself.

Pics to follow...

not for me, but for a friend.  Would like to have pics up so he can check it out.  I have a 16 footer and am looking for an 18-20' with a solid deck.
