There used to be a guy named Scott who ran in the NMCA with a chevy powered orange Fox notchback, and everybody hated him. Mainly because he always won, it was a good combo, and did its job, if its dumb and it works its not dumb. Anybody else remember that?
That's my buddy Scott Budisalich. He's from just across the river in Decatur, AL. It's worth noting that Scott won ALOT of races with a Ford motor in that car too when he was in EZ street. After he stepped up to Real Street, he swapped to Chevy because him and his buddy Jeff Chandler already had the parts to build a high winding chevy motor laying around. That was simple economics.
