I'm looking at this set of headers on ebay. What ya guys think? The price is right and with free shipping. Cheesy Also it's a well known seller.

I think it's a good deal. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can say that on *my* car, my Mac headers and h-pipe have a superior fit. The finish sorta sucks after time, but they never rusted.

Ive seen some bad things with mac headers before. mac quality in general is poor.  I do own a pro chamber and it has been ok to this point.  Fitment was not that great, kinda had to make it fit better than it came.

Shorty headers are better than stock manifolds but still don't do what long headers will do for a car. I do not know how much room there is on your newer Mustangs for the longer headers, but if you could fit them I would get the long ones. Also I am not familar with the HTS coating, but the headers I will be getting will be ceramic coated. They'll never turn colors like chrome ones and rust won't be a problem.

There's plenty of room for long tubes. Sure, you gotta remove the steering shaft to get the driver's side to fit, but what the hell! It's *so* worth it. HTS coating sucks. I have to send mine to Jet-Hot so they'll last. My ceramic coated BBKs look excellent though. I did have to pay out the ass for them, but it was worth it.

It's pretty much the bottom of the barrel concerning headers besides the stock manifolds.

Bottom of the barrel? These things will kick the stock manifolds ass.

I believe he's speaking of quality. To be truthful, I had a pair of BBK headers previous to my longtubes, and they were total crap. The fit was marginal at best, and they looked just as crappy as MAC headers do over time. On the other hand, I now have a set of BBK ceramic coated headers on the '89. Fit and finish is beautiful, but they cost an arm and a leg. Like I said, it may be an oddity, but my Mac headers and h-pipe fit beautifully.

I run a set of Mac LTs and hpipe.  Macs scavage better, but can cause more blowby because of it.  I can pull my BH with the macs.  try that with other brands.

Murphy...I bought those same headers brand new from summitracing.com for $89 shipped. I was going to try and use them on my '94 but decided against it and bought Mac long tubes. Someone bought the headers from me for $150!!!!!!!!!!!
