i had a question....I'm new to this so i don't know much but whenever i let off my clutch in neutral it starts squeaking, but when ever i put my foot back on the clutch the sound goes away... if anybody knows what this could be i would appreciate your help

Thats the classic sound of your throw-out bearing being bad....soon as you put some pressure on the pedal its gone....let off. she's back...

T.O. bearing is on the left...

P.S. That's DEFINITELY a throwout bearing. Mine used to sound like a bird was under the floorboards.

How bad is it to let this intermittent sound from the TO bearing continue?  Should I address it immediately?  (yeah, mine's doing it too)
