how hard are they to install?

the stangs gettin its tranny ripped out here AGAIN within a few weeks

might as well see if i can stuff some headers in there

is it possible to install without lifting the engine?

i have long tube headers on my 96 gt, the guys that installed him had the car on a lift, and went from the bottom of the car, they also dropped the k member of the suspension to help them fit

HP gain, I'm not sure.  I know they're easier to install than on DOHC cars.  I'm putting Hookers on mine, and doing a K-member at the same time, so that shouldn't be too bad.  Also depends on wether you're talking shorties or full length.
