Here's the link:
http://www.saleen.com/2005_s281.htm

Is anyone planning on getting one?  The power they were taking about on it looks pretty damn respectable although I'm not too sure about the look.  I can't even think about getting one, I'm just a broke 17 year old.

I didn't really like the Saleen I saw at SEMA.

I loved the Roush.

I'd rather get a regular GT and put the Saleen body kit on it and go with a Kenne Bell to give it some balls.

Steven's car (Gravel) was looking pretty good.  Too bad it was one of the first I photographed and my skills were lacking in that lighting...

I don't like the double stack wing and the fugly rear facia.... but then again.. the only saleen I would ever buy if I had the money would be the S7... the other are just cheap looking imho.

I would never own one of those "saleens".
Give me a bone stock GTand 1/4 of the markup $$ that Saleen wants, We'll see whos faster LOL!

I dont buy into that overpriced crap they offer. They are nothing more than an overhyped parasite IMO. How often do we have to hear about thier lousy customer and product support?

Not Anywhere on that Saleen link does the word Mustang appear, but they do take partial credit for the Ford GT LOL
All just MHO.

I've been seeing a lot of those new GTs on the road and I find them even more hideous in person.  I stick to Saleens older cars if I ever get one.

A buddy of mine is planning on getting a new Roush model in about 18 months. Don't really like the Saleen this year.

My thoughts exactly. I think both the Saleen and Roush cars styling is overdone, IMHO.

Anybody know what those cars cost?

That doesnt do it for me either, but I do like the colour.
I get the feeling, when I look at that pic, that Saleen just swapped in whatever trim pieces were easy to access.........without much thought at all.
All the while saying, "this is our own product, not a Mustang at all".
