Went down and dyno'd the engine today. (engine dyno). DTS. I am fairly happy..............................well, truth be told, I'm happy as hell. #1, it didn't blow up. #2, it surpassed my expectations. #3, it didn't blow up. #4, would've loved to have done the juice on it, but the retard box was malfunctioning, so will have to save that for the strip. #5, I"m happy as hell. Oh yeah, the results.....................750 HP, and 608 ft lbs tq. (from just a teenie little sbf).  Only diff from last year is, new pistons, a little more compression. Went from a 418 cuber to 438.  , and the compression was 14.1, and is now 15.5 to 1. |

It's in..............(I don't mess around)............................ Seriously. It's ten o'clock, and I"m tired, but all that's left is re-fab the alternator bracket, (crank trigger spaced it out another 3/8", so gotta modify brackets), then install radiator, finish wiring up the nitrous solenoids and remount them (again), and it'll be ready to PISS off some neighbors. Maybe tomorrow nite........................at least for sure saturday...................  Oh yeah, the heads............same ole same old AFR 205's that were HEAVILY modified/ported to the max last year. It made over 768 horse with my old dominator on it (made a few pulls just to see what it'd do, now that the new owner (of the carb), FIXED a reputable builders screwup with it. (not worth going thru the hassle of getting another dominator made for it tho.........maybe next year). |

Yeah, she thumps pretty hard. (kinda cool sounding I thought)..........  Well, it's friday nite and momma's got plans, so guess I gotta try and sneak a few 'quality hours' with my baby tomorrow or sunday..............................  |

I took *really crappy video), with my ancient sony camera, (with video, of course), and I took a few pictures last nite around 10 pm (just to prove to some other friends how much I actually got done last nite), but my usual picture hosting host is not working at this time. Awesome! Can't wait to hear about some all motor times. Should get up on the tire hard with that compression. I wish I had a real set of heads for my 393 and about 13:1.
