lol what is it with all they dyno graphs starting at 3000 RPM? That doesn't give you any clue how the engine is ACTUALLY going to perform at normal speeds.

For all I know your engines probably make 10 ft-lb at 1000 RPM. Ricers.  Tongue

It's a mod motor. It actually does make 10 ft/lb at 1000 rpm!

Actually, I was running the dyno, and I elected to pull from 3k. I had no interest in any data below that RPM.

Here's mine when I first got it with all of it's "issues".

I still have some tuning to do but I'm getting there. Hopefully I'll be at 400 stock. Then I'll get into heads/cam and go for 500.

Not an old pushrod. The last of the 302s put out something like 250 ft-lbs at 1500 RPM. TORQUE! Its what beats ricers!

Mine makes above 300... Here is a dyno curve BEFORE heads and cam[.b]...  note the torque at 1500-2000:  It's 320 ft-lbs at 1600 rpm.  I'm guessing it's probably around 350 ft-lbs at 1500 now.

Edit: and if that's rice, I'm worried for the rest of you all!!!  Wink   Grin

Here's mine.  GT-40's, and naturally aspirated!

Note: I still have some tuning to do.  Look at the A/F ratio.  It needs to be a little leaner.  Also I never played with the timing.  I hope there is anoter 10hp or so in it.
