I am happy to announce I bought a new Mustang.

It is a 2004 GT with 22k miles. I am the third owner. It is silver with black leather interior. It is a 40th anniversary car with premium interior and tinted windows.

It has some mods. Mach 1 grille delete, Mach 1 air dam, lowered with after market struts and shocks, some sort of after market shifter (I wasn't paying attention when he said it), after market gauges, SLP cat back, Halibrand Cobra III wheels, Steeda wing, K&N FIPK, Accufab plenum, subframe connectors and 3.55 gears.

The guy bought it modded so there may be other mods waiting to be discovered. Of course I paid too much for it but I am in Hawaii.  The car is in awesome condition and is the color I was looking for. I had given up and was going to buy something else besides a Mustang but the wife wouldn't let me. She is as excited as I am about this car.

I don't know know how I feel about the wheels and the wing. I need center caps for the wheels and I am going to drive it around with the wing before I decide to go wingless. I like it so much better than the Camaro. I owned it less than 5 minutes before a guy gave a thumbs up gesture.

The plates are not mine and are going back to the owner.

Looks to be in awesome shape.  Those are some high dollar wheels from what I remember.  Congrats, good to hear from you and see you're back in the game.

OMG Marlin! That car is pure sex!  Shocked

I *want* those wheels...........absolutely gorgeous! Overall, I think they compliment the look of a beautiful car. Smiley

BTW, did you call and get that paper for it yet? You know, the one you had me get for our '89 Vert?

I've seen that spoiler work well on a car before: http://www.beef-cake.net/fordcobra.html

The wheels, to each their own.  I'm not a big fan of them, but if you like them, thats all that counts.

Nice package. Looks like SLP exhaust? I like the wing, makes you take a second look. Nice thing about wings is that they can be changed easily.

You're right about the wing making you take a second look.  My parents Mystic Cobra never won a trophy until they stuck a wing on it like yours.

Nice very nice. I'd be happy to have that sitting in my garage. I'd agree with getting some center caps too. I can't say that I would have bought those wheels, but they look fine to me. The wing is a little big for me too. I'd rather have something smaller.

It looks like the original owner did a nice job with the mods he made, very tasteful.

Sharp looking car man. I think those wheels would look really nice if they were black, but I don't care for the color they are.

I see mustangs are pretty popular with the military, from the pics.

Well since this thread moved for some reasons I will post an update.

I got new wheels, Mach 1 Brakes all the way around, Tri-ax shifter, and put the GT and Ford symbols back on.  I took it to the dyno and got 248/285.

Unfortunately I am about to ship the car to Guam but at least there is a a track there.

Thanks for the compliments. I haven't seen it since April 30th. It is already in Guam. I am going to try to pick it up when I fly there next week to move my wife.
