Apparently my headlight switch has gone bad & I need to replace it.... I already have the switch, but have no idea how to do it/ what it takes?

This is the switch I'm referring to:

Tools required:

1. Flat head screw driver.

That is all my friend. Pop out the old switch, unplug the connectors, plug connectors into new switch, pop switch back into place.

LOL! Well, cross your fingers I don't either LOL

So, you just pull the switch assembly off? Or is there a trick to getting it to come off?

Not reallly, little tabs hold it into the gauge pod, just pry outward on it with a flat screwdriver, kind of work your way around it, and it'll pop out.

the switch part has to be pulled on (out ward) while prying the tabs with the screw driver, and you have to hold it out while prying the other side.. it can be a little tricky the first time, but you should be able to do it with out screwing something up.

Do you drive the car with the fog lights on? if you do the switch is going to go out again but there is a fix for it so you can use the fog lights independently like on your purple car.
