... to replace my steering wheel to a steering wheel with tilt? How much of a difference does it make? Is it worth the price and time to install?

If you were to find a complete column, it would be pretty much cut and dry..

Like gravel said 90-93 are the airbag models.  The older wheels 87-89 are tilt, non air bag.  Unless you are putting in a 94 and newer wheel, I think they are tilt and air bagged.

In 90 i know they were non tilt with the airbag. Mine is the same way. Also in my 93 it is non tilt. I guess Ford could not think of a way until the sn95 platform.

87-89 tilt non airbag
90-93 non-tilt airbag
94-present (i am assuming) tilt and airbag

I could be wrong but this is what I was under the impression of.

There was a thread on the corral that a guy put a newer cobra wheel in his fox. Looked damn good, like it was factory.

I was thinking about doing the SN95 colum and wheel swap also, so let me know if you decide to so I can see how big of a pain in the @$$ it will be  LOL , i'm assuming the airbag wiring is not the same. I don't have tilt in my '92 either, a close friend of mine must have a colum from an earlier year becuase his '90 LX has tilt.

What if I got a tilt colum from a 94+, would I be able to put my current airbag wheel on?

Well in that case, I wouldn't see why not. I was talking swapping colum and wheel and all. You shouldn't have to change any wiring for the airbag if you keep the same wheel. I'm not 100% though.

That I am not sure. I think the SN95 wheels are better looking. I am sure there are just a few wires that need to be changed for it to work. Unless you are not looking for a functioning air bag, then you would not need to hook it up.
