So we do have a tech section here! No kiddin...

Anyway, I have the 190lph pump out of my old Mustang, and I wanna put it in my new Mustang. I need new gaskets, o-rings, hose, sock, etc.

LRS has this kit, but it says its for a 255lph, does it matter?

For what I understand, it doesn't really matter. In fact, if you're getting a new pump, it's best to go with a 255lph one to support future mods down the road.

Because even though the 255lph has the capacity to flow more than the 190lph one, that doesn't mean it will eat up more gas. Just that if your engine needs more fuel, the 255lph can provide a larger amount than the 190lph one.

If that makes sense...

Do you have the entire pump and pickup or just a pump? If you just want to swap pump/pickup assembly you shouldn't need anything assuming the O-rings are still good at the top of the tank. You can buy the plastic clips for the fuel lines at any parts store.

I tried getting the things from the parts stores around here, but no dice. All they were able to get me was the sock filter and nothing else. I ordered that kit from LMR and everything fits....incase anyoine runs into this problem down the road.  Smiley
