Electric fan issue...

Yea yea...should be in tech.
Anyways. The ground wire at the plug for my Mark VIII fan burned up today. Apparently. the connector I used from that plug to the DC controller wasn't seated properly. Now it looks like the plug is burned up also. Is it possible to just get a new plug from the parts store? Or can I just get a connector to plug the ground wire directly onto the fan?

solder it back ok!! Or better yet run a higher gauge directly to the chassis...
