Nope, not my car, but a friends car, the famous, "I hate prochargers" car found here:http://www.badassmustangs.com/forums/index.php/topic,20973.0.html

quick video of it ---> <a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/tFO1s5ESvXk" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/tFO1s5ESvXk</a>

cheap 306
edelbrock heads
some cam
holley intake
42lb injectors
lots of boost, about 15psi

I've been making jokes about him splitting his block all week now.  LOL  Tomorrow is the day.  Myself, I would want it tuned really safe, but he wants to see 500rwhp.  I guess just saying 5XX makes it sound cooler right?  Anyway, I'll be taking my camera, and getting it on video for sure.f

As of right now, 2 of us(plus the owner Josh) are going, and we're all riding in his car.  Luckily the other guy has AAA, so if his block splits, I'm riding home in a tow truck. LOL

With the s***ty blower only reading 8psi, and made 42X.  He's only had it up to about 5K or so and seen 11psi already with the new blower.

LOL The kid can't shift to save his life.  With the old setup, it trapped like 123 but only a 12.3 and a horrible 60ft.

I'm thinking about 435.  If this is the first time it's been on the dyno since all the changes, something won't be right.  That's how it always goes.

12.3??  My car went 12.37 @ 112 with UNDER 300rwhp at the wheels... so says Pete's old MD.

There's no doubt its making decent power... enough to run 10's with the right tires, suspension, and driver.

I'll go somewhere in the middle... 445rwhp @ 5800 and the motor won't last a year if he shifts it over 6000.  Heck, it would be amazing it went a year with those head gaskets Smiley

Alright, 460, but with some problems.

I could make this story a long ass ordeal, but I'm tired.  We got it on the dyno, did a baseline, and several more pulls, and it was having problems with fuel pressure dropping after 5K.  Tuner said it was the pump most likely.  A trip to a speed shop, and I then find myself installing a new pump.   Several more pulls(including one where it tossed the belt), and its still having a slight problem over 5K.  Best it was was 444 or so.  Our friend Ben who was dynoing it one time while the tuned listened to the engine noted the voltage gauge was dropped into the red near 5K.  Hmmmm, electric fan, relocated battery, and a stock alternator?  Thinking maybe the alt was the problem, we yanked the fuse for the time, did one more dyno, and it put down 460.  There still wasn't the proper amount of fuel, but it greatly increased.  The tune was already dialed in.  He said with the better alt, and an inline pump(just as a little helper) it would probably put down 470ish without any changes.

I'll get a video or 3 up in a bit.  I just got home after 14 hours, and am damn tired, as well as filthy from doing that damn fuel pump install.

No, thats the car's owner.  Nothing wrong with plugging your ears, his car is loud as hell.

Dyno sheet with a/f info?

They didn't give him any.  I think they possibly said they were going to email them to him.

Well, my 435 was pretty damn close on the initial run.   Wink  I told you something would be hosed, it's always that way out of the box.
