I have a '87 Mustang GT 5.0 HO in which I am having trouble with the clutch cable. The problem is at the firewall I have a BBK adjustable unit. I've had problems with the cable twisting and kinking at the adjuster. The last cable I installed was just the other day and although it felt great it failed after 24 hrs. The only thing I can think of is the cable routing is incorrect. I can't seem to find a clear diagram showing the correct way to route cable. BTW, I am using a Ford Racing Quadrant. Any ideas ?  |
