WOW! Nice work!
Here's a little story.
Back in the last part of Winter, 1999, I was taking a break from my boyfriend in Florida (now ex b/f, of course) and staying here in Ohio with my parents. I couldn't drive my car due to the weather, so I took stuff off and polished it. When I went back to Florida a month or so later, everything was polished and people would constantly compliment my work, even the a/c compressor! It looks awesome.
Then we had the wild fires in Port St Lucie, where I lived. I have a Steeda hood with reverse louvers (open). A few days after the fires began, it rained. All the ash in the air came down and landed all over my engine due to the openings in the hood. My polishing job was pitted all to hell. It looked like ass.
I grabbed me a can of the Cast Aluminum Rebuilders paint and never looked back.

Wow, all that work to sell it?? I hope you get a good buck for all your work. Looks great though.
Aluminum will oxidize and get a whitish, cloudy look to it if left to the elements. Use a clearcoat over it after you have polished something aluminum unless you are going to be repolishing it every week or two. The oxidation will come on slowly and you won't be able to notice it as much if you are looking at it all the time. Someone that doesn't see it everyday will notice it though when you pop the hood for show-off time.

Holy cow!! I wish I had the patience to do that! I have enough trouble doing my valvecovers..
Any idea how many hours you have into that? I'd love to do that someday, but there's no way I think i'd have the patience for something that big by just hand sanding it.

You'll get some good money on ebay, a lot of people will pay a LOT more then you'd expect for things. I still have to finish my valvecovers.. this is as far as I am at the moment...
