What a piece of s*** company.  Roll Eyes

Allow me to tell said story in full.  I paid for an alternator (the first one) which was a 150 amp alternator at the time.  It was comparatively priced to PA's 130 amp so I figured what the hell, I'll get the one with the extra 20 amps.

A few months ago, some wires in the ASI bracket got cooked but it was still giving charge, so I was unaware of any problem, until the thing basically blew on me.

So I send that back to the company and they said they can't do a return on it which was understandable, since it was basically destroyed.  The in turn, give me a deal on a new one if I purchase another one and I say sure, I need one anyway right?

I get a brand new one that week and before I hooked it up, I got new wires, cleaned the terminals, EVERYTHING I could think of electrical wise so it wouldn't happen again.  A few weeks later, my voltage was dropping so I had a problem.  I checked everything non-alternator related because the alternator is new and there's NO way the problem lies with that right?  WRONG.

I grab an old, dirty, beaten down 130 amp alternator we have in our shed (didn't even know we had it) and when I replaced alternators, the charge was perfect.  Frustrated, I call up one of their tech peeps and say I the one I just bought has a problem and I want to return it for a brand new one.  They say no problem, give me a return authorization number and I ask for their shipping number because I wasn't going to pay for shipping, that's for damn sure.  Mind you, I send it back and the alternator structure wise is PERFECTLY intact.  No damage whatsoever, it just won't charge.

So I send it back and wait.  Two or three weeks later, no new alternator.  So I call their tech peeps, no response, so I leave a message.  I give them 4 days to return my phone call and they don't.  Frustrated once again, I call up every damn person I can and not ONE person picked up.  I left a message with each one and waited for a call back nothing.

This week, which is about a MONTH later, I start calling again and leave a pretty pissed off message saying this is the 5th damn time I've left a freaking message, I want SOMEONE to call me back now regarding my alternator exchange.

I get a call a few minutes ago and I ask the guy where in gods name is my alternator.  His response? "The boss looked at it and denied a return a few weeks ago."  I was like "I don't understand (trying to sound polite when I was actually very pissed off), I sent it back with no damage whatsoever to the alternator and it won't hold a charge, that's all.  And why the hell was I not contacted the day he said "no"?"

His response again?  "Well for whatever reason, the wires got crossed, blah blah blah bulls***"  I say "No, you're wrong.  I did everything right.  I hooked up everything correctly and the wires were perfectly intact."  He says "Well, you're going to have to take that up with the boss, but I'm not sure he'll remember."  I go "Fantastic warranty service you guys have, what's his number?"

So I called up the "boss" and I get no RESPONSE!  Look at that!  And I doubt I'll get a hold of him and even if I did, he'll bull some bulls*** excuse out of the ass.  And there's no way in f***s name I'm going to be ever purchasing from them EVER AGAIN.

So what have we learned?  Flushing money down the toilet would of been more painless than dealing with this s***.  Their warranty and products are a big f***ing joke, don't waste your time or money at s*** Stuff Performance.   Blam

With a name like that...  I mean come on...  That's like getting your eyes done at Billy Bob's Quicky Lasic Service or something.

It does suck when a company will not even give you a call back.

Post up some phone numbers. Chewbacca needs to call them up and leave a few messages. Seriously, I'll do it.
