Haven't worked on her in a while.  Long story somewhat short, she stopped making boost.  The s-trim had been leaking a little oil from the front seal.  No boost was caused by a cracked pulley, thus it just spun on the input shaft.  I tried to remove the pulley, and the bolt snapped off half still inside the input shaft.  Beef  I then said f*** it, bought the 93 cobra, and sold the tremec 600 to recoop some of the 93s price.  I've since reinstalled the stock t5 along with a new flywheel/clutch.  I'll all bolted up and ready to start minus the h-pipe.  Anyway, I took the blower to a local shop who said they could get the bolt out.  He got it out, said at least 80% of the threads were fine, has a new bolt/washer for me, and is going to replace the front seal all for about $60.  Deal  Then once I test out the s-trim, make sure its not leaking anywhere, the blower is getting sold, and the 89 is being driven to IL and parked...or at least thats the current plan.

All that work for $60, good price man. Smiley So the 89 will be mostly put back to stock then sold? How much you selling the blower for? Any plans on getting another mustang or just keepin' the 93 sexy cobra?

Any special reason to just park the 89?

Well once the blower is yanked, she'll still have a 60K original 89 shortblock with edelbrock heads, crane 2030 cam, and edelbrock intake.

I have very slight plans I would LIKE to do as another project car, but we'll see.

Any special reason to just park the 89?

I have to much attachment to it, and can't sell it, thats why. LOL  Someday she'll have a turbo kit on her.

I have a feeling mine is going to be parked for some time as well  Sad

At least you have a backup.

Mine's already been re-parked.  I won't start on it until I have my 3 day weekend.  I've even been thinking of just taking it to Ramsey's and have them look at it and chip it at the same time.  I do know, that if this rocker arm stubs breaks one more time after it's fixed again, the car will be sold.

Why park it back up north?  Do you just not intend on driving it for some time?

Plates are $100 a year, insurance is over $150 a month(although when I turn 25 in Sept I'll be getting specialty insurance for like $500 a year) the price of gas, etc.  I don't know at this exact point in time.  I didn't plan on having tow cars here.  Thus when the cobra came, the goal was to get rid of the 89.  That means selling the tremec 600 and blower, and then just parking it in IL.  I sold off the tremec, and will have the blower up for sale shortly.  Basically there are 3 option.

1. Keep them both here.  Cobra stays stock, while the 89 gets turbo kit
2. Take the 89 to IL, and start another project car here
3. Take the 89 to IL, and just enjoy the cobra leaving it 95% stock(nothing wrong with some new shocks/strusts/springs to make the ride better)
