Which time slip do you wanna use?
  N/a, it ran a best of 9.62 @ 141 with a 1.34 60'.

 With a toy shot of giggle juice, (150 shot), it went 9.0 @ 149.88 mph, with a 1.28 60'.

 Crazy

Cool, give us a little info on your car, i.e. year (I'm assuming a 79), engine, etc... and I'll put you on the list!

Hello, and thanks for the welcome.
I just (like moments ago), filled out the info sheet/page (members area or something), on the car.
Basically it's a 79 stang hatchback. Weighs 2500 pounds (give or take).  Dyno'd last year @ 711 hp 565 ft lbs tq.
It's a 418 windsor based 351w stroker.  14 to 1 coompression.  Dart block, AFR 205 heads, (heads are holding me back), anyway, isky custom solid roller cam. C4 trans, 8" 5500 TCS converter,  Trans built by ME with mostly PA internals. Rear end is a narrowed 9" w/ spool/4.30 gears, Mark Williams axles. 31" tall mickey thompson slicks.  Rear suspension is antique comp. eng. ladder bar setup. Front end is mostly Qa1 coil over setup. w/90/10 lakewood struts.
   Can hardly wait till spring.
Already have the rear end repaired/reinforced, and am just waiting on new daytona pinion support and a couple bearings.
Engine is almost back together. Just gotta start taking the trans apart and checking it out for next year.

Did I mention I love racing?.................(hell, after all these years  you'd think I'd be good at it by now)........:>)

Just tuning adjustments AFAIK.  The 11:48 from last year was right after the turbos were installed with no tune.  Smiley

Well crud! Sad About two days after posting this, my tranny stopped working right...So I took it in to some jerk who overcharged me and then tried to take my GOOD parts in the process. Fortunatly, I am smart enough to ask for my old parts back.

Anyway, when this run was made (the 14.660) second gear in my transmission was completely and literally broken. The inner set of gears had broken away from the outer set of gears. I'll post a pic in my gallery later of it. Almost ALL of my synchros were GONE. plus muy clutch was hosed. So, when I got it back from the rip off artist, the clutch cable collapsed also leaving me stranded at Busch Gardens waiting for AAA. I WAS going to take it TODAY, but last night was a late night, and either track is about an hour and a half drive each way for us. Maybe next week.

Oh yeah, in addition to the transmission work, I also replaced the plug wires which were completely hosed and arcing all over the place. Looked like 4th of july under my hood at night. Banging head on wall I am also replacing the valve guide seals since they are leaking all over the place and the darn thing is smoking when it idles. The way I see it, I SHOULD get slightly better times now, but only SLIGHTLY. The yoyo that did the tranny work, took out my perfectly good aluminum flywheel, and replaced it (in an attampt to steal mine) with a steel one from Ford.

What do you guys think?

My '96 Cobra went 13.5 @ 105 w/a 2.1 60'

I'm not sure what the Explorer would do. I'd hate to take Dan's 2nd place spot in the non-Mustang category.
