Ok, finally....
The tale of the tape is as follows:
R/T ... .245
60' ... 2.331
330' ... 6.283
1/8 ... 9.465
MPH ... 77.70
1000 ... 12.192
1/4 ... 14.478
MPH ... 99.06

Notice the 60'Huh No traction...I was on the street tires again. DOH! I'm trying to figure out the scanner, and will send a copy of the timeslip later. Am I in? Huh

Interesting, My 1/8 mile was slower E.T. wise, but we had the same speed.....Does that mean I shifted better? Or did I make more HP???  I probably got better shifts...Too many variables....I am VERRY tired now...So I'll shut up before I become an annoyance....Oops..Too late. LOL

Speed (MPH) is an indication of horse power.  ET is an indication of how effectively you used the available torque to accelerate the vehicle.

Orlando Slipperworld Raceway is the WORST race track I have been to in Florida.  It is 45 minutes away, and we would rather drive 3 hours to Bradenton, or 4 hours to Moroso or Valdosta, GA.

My best 60' on street tires at OSR was a 2.05.  Really had to walk it on the clutch.  Put on MCrearys, and got no better than a 1.90.  Hit or miss on track prep there.  Usually miss.

I don't see why 13.8x's or 13.9x's aren't possible. I was running 13.5x's at 101 MPH in a Fox.

Your car is a tad heavier than my old one, a good thing to take into consideration. At a loss of 2 MPH trap speed compared to my old car, I wouldn't say you're wishing for something unreasonable.

Just givin' ya a little confidence boost. Grin

I have some Mccrearys, and I live right between Bradenton and Orlando....So the next time, I'll try out at Bradenton with the Mccrearys and see what happens. I'm thinking I'll go up in smoke at first until I get used to running on the aired down tires.

Where is the time slip? All I see is a magazine article. I have PLENTY of those already. A time slip says that it was YOU, not someone elses car that is set up just like yours. Undecided

Good, now take it to the track, and make it turn the times. There are a LOT of cars that CAN go 9's, but their current owners can only get them to turn 10:90's. There is an art to being able to drive a car down the strip without burning the tires off past the 60 ft mark. Post up a time slip that is recent....Thats when you get to have bragging rights.

ANY chump can BUY a racecar.....It takes a real DRIVER to row it down the track to a quick time.
