Good, yes it is, there is a lot of crap going around up here, my youngest son missed two days of school last week.

Did anyone else download that sweet update from HP that puts your computer into recovery mode?

I downloaded the recommended updates from HP last night before I shut it down, I turn my computer on today and Windows isnt there. WTF?! I called up HP and they told me a bad update was sent out to my comp. I ended up reformatting the stupid thing. Luckily I have all my important stuff backed up on the external, but its still a pain in the ass cause now I have to reload all my programs, redo all my settings, all my bookmarks......  Banging head on wall Banging head on wall Banging head on wall Banging head on wall Banging head on wall Banging head on wall Banging head on wall Banging head on wall Banging head on wall Banging head on wall

Thats what I get for trying to do the right thing and keep this comp in ship shape.

Yoyoyo guys, it's been a while. Thought I'd step in and give you guys an update about my life and stuff.

Don't think I mentioned this but I recently went on a 7 day cruise to the Grand Cayman Islands, Isla Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel sometime before Christmas and it was absolutely sensational. Currently uploading some more pics. FWIW, if you're on vacation, don't take 515273712r3 pictures. Such a PITA to sort/modify/delete them...

Since that time the new semester started up and I'm going to totally rock my classes this time. Another one of these and I should be ready to graduate so I'd like to go out with a bang. I'm trying to hit the books early this semester so I won't fall behind. Well, I wouldn't say hitting yet...more like a slight harassing. But at least they're getting contact damnit! I'm also enrolled in my first grad level course evar, Genetic Engineering. Already I can tell it's going to be a little complex haha.

Why do I not see a thread by Dot that consists of him shatting on the Eagles since the Cowboys beat 'em in the playoffs? Don't tell me this place has been that slow...

And to go with the thread, I studied/worked out and now taking it easy. Might partake in another vape session in a bit as well!

How are you guys doing?

Been good! So you're set to graduate fall '10 then?

I'm still working at my jerb, been there 7 months now without any horrific incidents. It's a very stressful job and it takes its toll on me some days. Just the other day I was floating coverage for 3 ICU's and had to terminally wean a patient and look at 30 family members crying at the same watching me like a hawk, then I went to another unit to do an admission. I took one 10 minute break. If the money wasn't as good as it is, I'd definitely reconsider my profession.

Speaking of professions, I'm back in school taking graduate statistics. It's my last prerequisite before I can apply to graduate school (nurse anesthesia). I have to take ACLS next month, my CCRN certification sometime before June, and the GRE sometime before June as well. LOADS of fun there. If I get in *fingers crossed* I'd start fall 2011 and graduate after summer 2013.

Still seeing the same girl, 8 months and going now. Smiley

Still rockin' the Focus too, I wish I wasn't but being financially responsible is a lot easier than ballin' on a budget.

Yep, it is much quieter around here, I thought it might pick up during the winter months.

We just wrapped up shooting 1204 rounds of 30MM ammo for the day.

Reading through employment contracts and income guarantees and both wishing I was an attorney (so I could figure this crap out) and thanking God Almighty that I'm not.  What an awful life to have to read through and write such contracts.

I checked in (been in and out over the years, but just couldn't remember my old login 'cause I'm old now) to see what funny stuff yall might be sharing, but the ghost town vibe is scaring me.

It's so hard to believe there's nothing to talk about.  Is everyone just buzzing around in their stangs and can't stop in to talk about things?

And what's with not having more musician avs?  Dang, I wanted to pretend I was Keith Urban for a bit.
Nah...twould be better if I was posin' as Nicole/BabyGirl. Wink  OK, yall need to add lots more musician avs!

(Witch.  Casper.  Toothpick.  Beautiful, sexy smile...and those red lips!  But I still don't get it.  She has nothing on me.  I reconcile this with the fact that he simply hasn't met me.)

C'mon, yall know you wanna talk!

Waiting for a phone call from the guy who is going to be doing a tune to my car, got my seat bracket today for my corbeau racing set, and just chilling at the apartment, and getting poked at by Dave88Lx, so nothing much has changed it seems

That's what I was telling Slick last week. I speculated that in a year BAM would be booming and corral would be like a ghost town

As much as I would hate to see the Corral become a ghost town (even though I rarely go over there anymore), I'd like to see BAM be active like it was in the early days.

I agree on both counts, seems like the natives are more and more restless since ownership changed hands
