Thats right, I finally, finally got a job; this time as a valet. After submitting several applications to various places, I finally got unofficially hired today.

And it was real easy too.  I just walked in, asked for an application, and they did the interview on the spot.  And it was the very first valet place I tried. Cheesy

I'll be valeting cars in the downtown Tampa area so there's plenty of money to be made.  The company it self does valeting for all sorts of places such as restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, recreation areas, hospitals, and even private parties.  And there all located in the big city of Tampa so there's plenty of money to be had.

Shout out to Phil for giving me the low down.

I purchase my uniform this Wednesday and they said I should be getting a call either today or tomorrow to set an orientation date.  I'm stoked.  Dance

Here's the companies site if you're curious: http://www.717parking.com/new/717page1/717page1r.html

Fantastic choice!

Do not get stuck working at a hospital. It sucks, believe me. The ER is fairly cool to valet for, but you won't be making much. Pick either a country club or an upscale night club, those are the places to be. Hell, I might go back to valeting!  LOL

You're going to interact with an obscene amount of people, use it to your advantage. Remember, this has to go on a resume. If you're going to drag race a Cayenne Turbo vs. an S55 Mercedes Benz, at least don't do it right in front of Comerica Park, even though it has 4 open lanes of traffic and there's no traffic out, and you'll look back at it as one of the funniest moments in valet history. Oh, and don't be driving the Cayenne. It lost.  Sad

Thanks guys.  Getting paid well to basically drive cars that don't belong to me.  Seems win win to me. Cheesy

Phil, no hospitals, eh?  I'll keep that in mind.  There's a few nice clubs out here so hopefully I'll have a chance to collect.  And drag racing you say?  I didn't even think about that.  I'll keep that in mind. LOL

The second I drive a Carrera GT, a Porsche 911 (Ruf or not) or a Ferrari, is the very second I will leave the owner a twenty to cover the orgasm I left in his car.

I haven't had a flat in about a decade.  I don't know what you are talking about big boy.
