I'm home sick today with some nasty stomach virus that the rest of my whole family came down with yesterday. This morning when I went to the store for medicine, I figured I'd pick up some Gatorade so hopefully I won't get too dehydrated. Now I'm reminded why I don't ever drink it - it's TERRIBLE!  |

I've only had it a couple times when I was so thirsty dr pepper wouldn't cut it. I got the fruit punch kind, and it was alright.

Did you get the stuff already bottled or the powder to make your own? I like making it myself...sometimes I'll add just a spoonful or two into a glass of water and some times I'll make it full strength.

It's too strong and isn't necessary for the most part except for a very small percentage of our population. That said, try the Citrus it's by far the best there is out there.
FYI, the stuff goes bad over time, has an expiration date and such. One of the plants that produces it is just down the way from one of our plants.

I got the half-gallon size that was already mixed up. I watered it down some and that helped, but it's still not very good.  |

Indeed, never heard of the makes your teeth feel funny thing before. Powerade made a sweet tea flavored drink for a little while but then stopped. I even wrote and asked them why they stopped and they said sales weren't high enough. |

Normally, I use the powder and mix it at 50%. Or if I drank heavily for some reason, I will drink a large bottle at full strength before I go to bed to help with any hangover the next day.

Gatorade rocks.....after a hard workout beside water it is the only thing I drink to get the electrolytes in me.
Has anybody tried the Gatorade rain, I like one or 2 flavors the rest have their own taste to them. I will stick to the original ones.
