Working midnight shifts now and I'm still not fully adjusted. I should be asleep right now but I can't sleep, my body is like WTF why aren't you awake. The days I have off my sleep schedule is jacked.

Phil!

Band's the band.  We do s*** in spurts now, three months of lots of shows then a month or two of downtime.  We're back in downtime again now.  Getting too old to go continuously lol.

Work is hectic as always.  No rest for the wicked, ya know.

I think I've found my niche with the BMW.  The only reason I haven't gotten into a newer one is the fact that I can't stand the notion of losing $7k on a car in one year (The economy has really dinged the resale of the cheapo-lux cars here).  I'd love to move into a 6 series or M3 or M5 but responsibility is kicking in, and I'm holding back.

Currently on the hunt for a decent mid-large SUV for the winter season.

Been busy.

The fam went to a friend's beach house in Atlantic Beach last week.  It was awesome.

However, now I'm back to work and the next time I'll have 24 hrs off without any work related activities will be Oct 24th.

I am going to an interview for a practice in Portland next week.  Should be fun.

Work is beginning to kick my ass and then there is the Scouting which isn't much different.  My boy started Community College through the dual enrollment plan as a 16 year old and now attends College 4 days a week.  The only casualty to his driving so far has been a couple of rose bushes my wife planted that he ran over in a tight situation exiting the garage.  I can no longer ge to BAM at work due to the IT nazis.

How is he liking the college deal? Brandon is in the IB program here, he wanted to go to that part-time college too because some of his buds are but I think in the long run he'll be better off in IB.

I admire the kids that have the discipline to weather the IB program.  I've had a couple of Eagles go through the program and one that is in it now.   Honestly, Drew knew from them how much work it would be and didn't want any part of it.  He's loving the College thing.  He goes 4 days a week, M-Thurs. and gets out at 11:45 on his late day.  So far he's doing fine.  He actually drives to the Community College Campus and has only been to the HS to pick up vouchers for his books.  He says he wishes he could have just skipped HS all together and gone straight to College.

That's the truth. What a waste high school was. I look back and think about how little I've remembered. Good for him, sounds like you raised a good kid.

In any class that didn't require homework I did fine.  In those that did have homework I got pretty poor grades, which included an F here and there.  Then I pulled a 3.7 gpa in college.  So yeah, HS left me with so little academically that I joined the Army at 17.
