It's not snowing here yet, but it's only a matter of time. We're gonna go straight from the 40's to the 90's in a week's time.

We had some when I was in Dallas over the weekend. In where?! Again, global warming. I don't need to buy cardbon credits - I have my garden. These are our flowers from our friend's garden, but I've advised I'll be taking some of them. I was going to transplant some of their forsythia, but we have been in freeze warning city.

That's tomorrow now. I cut the grass tonight (front and side yard) due to the weather that is pending. Last weekend, my friends at work had enough snow to build a 12' snowman.

There's a dusting of snow on the roof tops and slush on our deck. The system's past us now and ROFL we're supposed to hit 70 Monday. Spring, gotta love it.

By the way, I hate you. Due to our weather, our plants are very very slow to grow right now. I wonder how many we will lose due to the warm winter/snow at the end of March and April issue that we had. I guess we'll see.

For what, the flowers? I didn't get pics of my bulb flowers before they faded, but I want some of this guy's daffodils to amend my collection. I have a copy of the double white daff framed because it's not a common flower and it sparkles in the print I have. The pics are decent, considering all the leaves from last fall and the dandelions in the flower beds. I'm going to help him take care of things (read: I tell him what do to and he does the heavy lifting) so his place looks good, I get to play with flowers and get some stuff for my place free of charge, only my labor to transplant stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing other things in his garden develop - he's one of our local mustang/autox/open track friends that lives ~ mile away from us. Nice guy, perpetually single. Might have something to do with him working on his cars, car events, etc. and I get the idea that having someone else in the house at this point in his life wouldn't work out. Either way, I'm getting plants/flowers for my garden.

For what, the flowers?
Yep. And because our stuff is not growing. I will withhold any more comments about our landscaping fiasco from last year, but I have to wonder if she purchased annuals or perennials... or if she knows what she purchased...

Let me know if you need a consult on that. For any plants that started to come up, but now have transparent (frozen) leaves, you'll probably just cut them back for a re-do. I'll verify with the local Master Gardener's hotline, as I have the same, and let you know.
Friends are building a mansion, er home and I'm now landscape consultant. You mean I get to play with plants, help design a garden from scratch, spend someone else's money and don't have to do the hard labor? Woooo hooooo!
