Amazingly, I made it to work in about the same amount of time that it takes me everyday. Shocked

That is cool. We got 5-6 inches of snow around here, plus 2 inches plus of rain.

It was 48 degrees when I got up this morning, in April, in Central Florida.  I knew the cold front was coming across the state, but still I thought, Damn who left the door open when I walked out this morning.   LOL

Updates, I haven't been around much lately.

Oh, it's just turning into one of those installs where there's some stupid problem every step of the way.  I'm ready to light the stupid thing on fire.

Charcoal lighter fluid works well and gives you time to get away.   Grin

Yeah, but overlooking a loose fuel line and having an engine fire doesn't scream ARSON!  LOL

If it was a bit warmer, I would have taken my kayak around town. We got nailed with rain.

Problem with those types of deals is that the road could be washed out and you could not see it.. I will only drive through water like that on a road that I know is a seasonal flood and not a total washout.

Some pics..  this is up the road from my house...

The little bridge is about 3/4 covered to give you an idea how high that is.. the other side of the tracks is the other side of town. this is one of the three ways to get there.. I couldn't get to the other one that was flooded.

got pool?

right up to the back of the house.

this is where they are building new homes..  Roll Eyes

couple blocks from my house.

You can't see it in the pic, but add about a foot higher to the water line.

This is the lake in my town, not to far from my house..
I'm standing in front of the gazibo, normally there is grass there and to give you an idea, from the edge of the sidewalk to the water line is about 30 ft, with a decline of about 9ft.. this is low tide..

This is the pedestrian walk that crosses over the small part of the lake.......

The gazibo I was standing at is on the left...

this is a park about 1/2 mile from that lake..

This is over on the other side of those track in the very first pic.. My friends parents live over here, but they are out of the flood zone..

Add about a foot and a half to this water line, again, it's still low tide..

I was talking to the owner of the house on the left at the end... to the right you'll see the back half of his neon, the water WAS at mid door at one point..

This is the woods by my friends parents.

this was a house on that road that was flooded out..

and the street.

this is on the industrial part of town, probably about 5 miles from my house. This NEVER EVER floods...good ole power stroke.

Water? what water?

in the pics above, if you were to make a right at the T, it would bring you to this part of the road, I went the back way to TRY and get more pics of the road flooded, but it was a no go..
