I was planning on getting AFR 165 heads, GT-40 intake, and a blah cam but I was reminded on the Corral about the engine kit from Trick Flow. Includes everything you need. Heads, intake, cam, gaskets, timing chain, etc for only 2,100. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-95-MUSTANG-TRICK-FLOW-5-0L-STREET-ENGINE-KIT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33617QQitemZ8027327476QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V Only thing I think I need to buy are the 24-pound injectors, 70mm throttle body, and larger fuel pump. And if I wanted to, couldn't I have someone CNC port the heads to make them flow even better? I have no intentions on buying this anytime soon, it's just I'd like to have an idea of what I'll by getting when the time comes. Exhaust is first, lol. Thanks guys!

There's an article on that kit in this month's issue of 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords.

Lol, that's where I was reminded of it. I don't know why I said corral. Habit, I guess. Thought it might be worth checking out but since you all agreed on the AFR 165 combo, I might stick with that. I've got one more question though, If I were to get the 165 heads and Systemax intake, would I see any benefit in sticking with the stock cam? Reason I ask is because I've heard you get the best drivability and fuel economy, as opposed to an aftermarket one. Any thoughts?

If you are looking for best fuel economy...leave your motor alone Driveability goes in the s***ter too, mine no longer has the nice solid 700RPM idle it once did. Now it has a slightly choppy 950RPM idle. If you want to retain fuel economy and driveability, just get the stock heads and intake worked over. That will give you a bit more power, and won't drastically affect the way the car runs. Keep the stock cam too, possibly adding 1.7 ratio roller rockers if you want more lift (.444 with 1.7s and stock cam, FYI).
