I recently bought a 93 4 cyl coupe car that has been converted to a 302. it had toggle switches to give the coil poer and had one to turn the fuel pump on.  i only had headlights and had no hi beams turn signals, horn windshield wipers, nothing, so i changed thw whole dash and every wiring harness to fix it and the only part that it fixed was everything but, the fuel punp and starting the car. When you turn the key over its like the battery is dead but its not, cause everything works but those two things, if anyone knows please let me know.

I'm pretty sure there is a fuel pump relay.  I'm thinking it may be under the seat.  It varied year to year.

The only relay that i found is on the passanger side under the hood on this one, nothing under the seat, but what about starting the car cause it does nothing when you turn the key over, no click bang nothing.    Would a five speed harness have anything to do with it? cause i got everthing from a five speed car same year just not a automatic car which is what mine is, and i have looked for the safety switch but not sure what it looks like. But if the harness has something to do with it then is there any way to make it work without hacking up the harness?

The relay should be under the driver's seat, at least that's where it was on my 90gt.

sorry for the late response, but the 87-91's  and the early 92's had the FP relay under the drivers seat and was part of the car harness.  The mid 92 and 93's had the FP relay under the hood on the passenger side shock tower and was part of the engine (EEC) harness.  This is the biggest confustion when converting a 4cyl car with differant year harness, or using a newer harness in an older chassis.  The 86 was the oddball where the FP relay was under the drivers seat, but was part of the EEC harness.  These normally get cut, and am in the process of finding an intact harness to put my vert back to EFI.  The carb setup was cool just to drive, but I want my EFI and blower setup!
