Im pretty sure this is the cat-back I am going to get.  I have an 03 gt and a guy here in indy is running it on his 03 and it sounds amazing!  Just wanted some opinions from some people with this exhaust.  Considering the heffty price difference, I am propably going to just go with the aluminum instead of the ss.

Thanks for the info,
Kenny

P.S. sorry if this is in the wrong section  Grin

I don't care for straight through "turbo" type mufflers. I think the best sounding exhaust on the 4.6 is a prochamber through Flowmaster 3 chamber mufflers.

I just found out they make a couple different cat-backs.  Has anyone ever heard the street comp one.  I heard the quiet thunder and it sounds pretty bad ass, just curious what the other one sounds like.

I've heard nothing but good things about their mufflers. Listen to the setup inside and outside of the car before you buy, if you can. This is only 1/3rd of the exhaust, but it can drastically change the tone and sound of the car when accompanied with an h or X pipe, and vice versa.

Mufflers aren't a good source to free up HP, although they do slightly help, so pick out a catback based on sound preference and not the flow numbers they try to sell you on.

Good advice Phil....I've heard only good about Bassani but the mufflers don't sound good at all to me. They are great quality...it's just the sound I don't like.

My friend just put a Bassani catback on his '04 Cobra and it sounds awesome as all hell. I love it.

I just installed a Borla stinger & removed a flowmaster#17312. The Bassani is awesome sounding but gets to be to loud and dron sounding after a while as said by to of my friends who have them!On the other hand the Borla is loud & proud when you get in it & in stealth mode when your just cruzen!

I have Bassani Catback with MAC H-pipe, here a couple vids

http://media.putfile.com/02-Exhaust

http://media.putfile.com/Dyno-Run30

That will give you something to compare atleast a h-pipe with the Bassani Catback. By the way I can't even think of anything negative to say about Bassani and I even have the Aluminize catback.
