The car is going to leave the garage under it's own power soon and the question is, how fast will it go.
What'ya think?
3000# coupe with driver
 12:1 393
Ported World Senior heads(not much better than out of the box but a little)
Solid flat tappet cam 246/252@.050  586/594 lift(foot brake car, no box shootout style)
Ported Vic Jr intake
Holley HP 750
1 3/4 headers, 2 1/2" bullets
MSD Billet dizzy
Coan custom 10" converter approx 4000 stall
Full Reverse C4
3.73's with 26" Mt drad radials or et's

The only real bottle neck in my opinion are the heads.

I have a Nitrous Works kit but probably won't use it til fall

or unless eric is faster than me @ smackdown Evil

You can still buy a ticket...no need to be present to win. Spend that bonus, what size carb you gonna stick on it?

May need to utilize Mr. Chambers when the motor is in the car.

Jeff is pretty cool, and a very nice guy.  And I doubt you'll ever see another N/A 308 stand on it's ass as hard as jeffs car.  As soon as I get it broke in, we'll go make some nitrous pull up there Eric.

I have met Jeff a few times...

Watched him race several times (once through the windshield of my car at SD).  That car is great.

Well i've about got the fuel system all ran, tank is back in the car, and the nitrous is plumbed.  So now i've gotta make a panel where the back seat used to be and install my belts and seats.  After today, i'm officially out of stuff to do without the engine. Banging head on wall

It's starting to look like a car again. Beer

Well the motor is together and the paint is drying as we speak.  We'll get it set in tommorow and with any luck we should be able to run it in on wednesday.  I'll take some nice pics.
