Nice job!

In the two or three years I've used it on the internet, and the 100's of people who have seen that picture, you're the very first one who noticed that.     Grin

Hey, just a thought, but there is no better time than now to replace your rack bushings and sway bar bushings if you haven't already gone to poly bushings.  They arent expensive.

I've already done the sway bar bushings.   I have Poly-U all the way around.  But that rack idea is a good one.

Being dropped like I am, I might go ahead and get those offset steering rack bushings, for lowered Stangs.   Help a little bit with the geometry.  So consider it done!

When did you start this project again?  when do you think you'll be done?

I'm running the 17x9s with 255/45/17s and it did help some with the horrible tramlining I was experiencing.  A bumpsteer kit would be better, but hey, the bushings are cheap.

When did you start this project again?  when do you think you'll be done?

I put Fred in the garage about two month's ago and started tearing him down.  Began ordering stuff.   I figure to have him on the road by maybe mid Feb at the latest.    Smiley

I'm also running 17x9's.   I wish I could afford to go tubular A-arms, to get rid of that blasted metal to metal all-together in the steering.   But I'm short a few bucks.   With it being torn down like it is, it would be a piece of cake to do the work right now.

I thought you said that the engine bay was dirty??

After two cans of Gunk, some PowerClean, some Simple Green, and a Powerwasher...

Thankfully, the purple engine bay is GONE.  I bought it that way and hated it since day one....  But, whoever did the work did I nice job.    Blam

Hay as long as you have the engine out you can polish all those lines.  And as hard as it sounds you can keep it that clean and still have a daily driver.  Use simple Green or  other like cleaner I prefer the Kirkland brand from Coscto use it in non-diluted form cover up the electrical and spray it down let it sit for a few minutes and rinse it off it will stay clean.  Sure makes it nice to work on.  Looks great keep up the good work Jeff
