It's a dirty job, but I guess somebody's got to do it.     Beef

I'd have already quit, if I wasn't already seeing results.    Grin

The way it sits, you'd almost never know there was a motor missing out of it!   LOL

Arnell's kid is the closest, but he isn't quite all there.    I wouldn't trust him even cleaning the kitty box.     Crazy

It's holding up pretty good actually!   Just has to last a few more hours.    Grin

Damn, if I ever had to do this again, I'd have cleaned off a spot on the k-member to sit my ass down on inside there, instead of leaning over the dirty POS.

Not too bad for 247,000 miles, eh?  Keith recommended the RAM HD clutch kit to match the RAM billet steel flywheel, so that's what I went with.  Should handle the torque nicely.    Smiley

Oh geez does that bring back memories of when I took that POS AOD out of my car.  I must have used a couple of gallons of simple green.  I actually put it in a pump up sprayer.  Spray, scrub with scotch brite pads, rinse, repeat.  Zep makes some good concrete cleaner.  Looks like you are going to need it.

The next time anybody ever tells you that you can't polish a turd.......don't believe them.    Cool

I'm pretty much done, just a few small spots here and there.   Gonna replace all that old deteriorated flex tubing while I'm in here, too.
