I've seen a few people use Zaino, these people seem to swear by it and use nothing else

Has anyone tried that Meguiars NXT? for the $$$ it better be excellent....

I personally use Meguiars Gold Class, but in reality, its no better than any other stuff i've used....

Liquid Wax? Paste Wax?

share your knowledge people!

Jerry swears by all Meguiar's products. He started using the stuff after he saw Barry Meguiar on TV, and said "He just seems like a nice, honest guy". He uses Gold Class, and most recently bought their clay bar system. No complaints here. He's the washer/waxer, and our stuff looks good, so I can't really say anything, LOL.

Their tire shine is EXCELLENT, too. It's the gel that smells like grapes (the wax smells like bananas, LOL).

Story time:

I mixed some of their tire shine and water (about 20% tire shine, the rest water) and used it to detail up my engine bay before the Woodward Dream Cruise last year. Worked AWESOME. It shines stuff up but doesn't make it look glossy. I was using it on the floor of my Ranger, since it's just rubber, no carpet. Worked great for getting the snow/salt/dirt off. I was carrying the bottle out to my truck to clean it the other day, and since it was so f***ing cold here, the bottle froze and decided to crack as I was carrying it. Got it all over my shirt/jacket/pants. I was pissed. Gotta love Michigan!  Blam

I have used the Gold class since it came out and I like it alot.  I tried the NXT / Tech wax and I was really disappointed in how long it lasted, not very long at all.  I recently bought some Zaino and have been giving it a try.  See my Cobra pics from earlier today.  I'm pleased with the Zaino it goes on easy and I have less problem with having to wait for it to dry, especially with the humidity here.  That's the thin I like most about it.  If it's really humid I have to wait a long time on the Gold class to dry.

We've used the Meguiars NXT a few times and compared to Zaino it's pretty damn good. It doesn't cover swirl marks as well as Zaino does but it comes pretty close to it.

On the Camaro I used Meguires 3 step(cleaner, polish and wax) it took the paint from narsty crap growing on it,to almost showrrom shine..I am sure wiht more work,or perhaps a elec buffer it would look better.

On my previous DD, I used the 3 step process as well..  but I started with the clay bar...

Looked better than new...

Never had to wax the mustang.  Satin black does not get wax...

When she's done, she will most likely get waxed twice per year (garage/nice day car)

Haha I used it on my ex's car once. It's a 2000 Cavalier, never been waxed a day in its life. I just wanted to prove to her how s***ty her paint was getting, so I waxed a circle about a foot in diameter on her roof. That spot was shiny as hell and the rest of the roof looked like crap. She got mad but I thought it was pretty funny.

Zymol
It's ~50 bucks for 8oz of it.
I have never had a better wax in my life though. You buy a specific formula based on the color of your car. You never let it dry either and you have to keep it refrigerated after opening.
Must be applied and buffed out by hand. Also there is a cleaning process you have to do before applying.

I don't wax car, as it has no clear coat, and the paint is faded.. but once I paint it, I will be using ziano.. My father uses it on his show car, my sister uses it on her ricer.. numerous people I know use it and I can say it's the best I've seen yet..

that hooptie will walk on your ass... but I don't care, as I'm more worried about the motor being done.. once that's done then I'll think about painting it.. the the 5 lug conversion.. ahhhhhhh.. never ending.

I used to use Carnauba (sp?) Turtle Wax.

The paint had been peeling for a year or so, and I just got it painted so it will be another 2 months before I can wax it again.  I actually enjoyed waxing my car, though it was a tedious and time-consuming process.
