I have always used Maguires...is there anything better?  I know you can order Zaino from the internet ($100+), but looking for something over the counter.

Marc, if I was buying over the counter stuff I would just stick with the Maguiars Gold Class.  They have a new Tech Wax I believe it is, but I was less than satisfied with it.  I bought some of the Zaino and it's worth it in my opinion.  Especially in humid environments where getting wax to dry/haze up in a timely manner is sometimes a problem.

Thanks Chris.  What did the Zaino run you?

This is the kit I ordered Marc, I've been quite happy with the results and a little goes a long ways with it.  I've done the Cobra several times and I've loaned the stuff to my dad to try on the Mystic as well.

Zanio works really good, but the over the counter wax I really liked was Maguiars NXT wax.

Maguiars Gold Class.

Not like your car needs any help being shiny, but that stuff could make a turd shine.

You reallly can't go wrong with meguiars wax.  If your looking for a good polish try liquid glass http://www.liquidglass.com  You can get it in most parts stores.  I've seen a bunch of professionally detailed high end cars with this stuff and it looks better then zaino, more depth to the paint.  The best part is that it doesn't leave any type of residue in the spaces between body panels or on badgeing like wax does.  I actually had the guy that does our glass in our cars recomend putting it on the windsheild.

Friend of mine uses that on the entire car.  Almost as good as RainX on the windows.

I've heard goodthings about Turtles Ice wax. Myself i'm probably going to give Mcguires another shot I had some of their Gold class for my old car (bought the wax nearly three years ago... shows how much I waxed that car) and then I have some Turtle wax that the previous owner of the stang gave me.
