As some of you know, I have started working on mine...  anyone else complete this task?
any hints/suggestions/advice on doing this?

I also plan to hide wires, possibly just in loom and running somewhat out of site...

I love having a carb...

Some more pics (copied from another site!)

The work has begun on the engine bay.
In front of the strut towers will be covered in sheetmetal.  Still more holes to fill, as well as fix some damage.  We also need to finish the top of the firewall.  Someone did not mix enough filler to cover it all....

Here are some templates that we worked on tonight.

And a little grinding on the firewall.

Thank you!   Grin

Of course, in the end it will be sheetmetal and not corrugated plastic and duct tape!

Just did a little more work...

Instead of making the slanted panels, we decided to contour it to the factory lines....

I just welded in sheet metal and smoothed it out with Duraglass.

I uploaded them into my gallery, they're not the best ( disposable camera). 2 are "in progress" , one is finished...which you can't see much though
